Oh the tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive

I did it. We did it! About a month ago my dad suggested that we fly home and surprise my mom. It has been 2 1/2 years since I've been home. So we started planning, deceiving, down-right lying. It started so small with one white lie and it snowballed from there. But oh the joy of the suprise! Jason couldn't take anymore time off so the kids and I flew to Atlanta and my dad picked us up there and took us to Atlanta.

Okay that made me cry...that was such a sweet surprise. It is so hard living away from family. Have a blast and tell them all hello for me.

Oh Beth! How exciting! That little video brought tears even to my eyes because I know how special that was for all involved! I remember one incident, actually two, where my Mom completely surprised me and I know those are memories that will last the rest of my life! So glad you were able to do this and with the kids too!

And GOOD FOR YOU for flying with 3 children!!! How did it go?? Is that a built in car seat for Kate...??? I'm flying with Jack in May and it would be nice to not have to bring the seat onto the plane.
