Jonas is a reader. I am not a reader. I think books are pretty, but I sadly do not get very far with many of them. I could blame it on the stage of life that I'm in, but I don't think that's going to work. I get frustrated that I can't seem to communicate my thoughts through writing and I'm sure that my lack of reading contributes to that. Jason reads literally hundreds of books to every one that I read. I'm very thankful that Jonas seems to be following his daddy's example. Lately he has started reading the Bible on his own. He has the ESV on his i pod and tonight he was reading the first 8 chapters in Genesis before falling asleep. He's so cute and so grown up.
This picture is Jonas reading Redwall in the Target shopping cart. When we go to the pool at our community center I have to make him swim. He usually just wants to sit on the side and read. What a nerd. :)

Sara and Jonas-still two peas in a pod:) Most of the time when we leave the house, I hear, "mom, can I bring a book?"
