This month we are celebrating 8 years of marriage.
Jason officiated a wedding last night. The bride was beautiful. The groom was beaming. Jason read the vows and they were repeated by the pair. There were several times during the ceremony that Jason looked out across the crowd and caught my eye. We shared a knowing gaze and my heart swelled. I'm sure that the significance of the vows they shared before God and we who witnessed was a reaffirmation for the many married couples there of their love for each other. The congregation was not small and Jason usually doesn't catch my eye when he's preaching, but there is certainly something special about attending a wedding after you've experienced years of life together. Here we are at 8 short years and so much has happened. Our love is stronger now than it has ever been. I enjoy each day. I look forward to tomorrow and each day after that God allows us.

Aww!! Happy anniversary! What a great post! :)
I loved reading this......
happy 8 to you!
Beth, this year's anniversary will be especially meaningful to you and Jason. We are praising the Lord with both of you that He, by His grace and mercy, has chosen to walk with you through a journey of pain, love, trust, and hope. I am sure He has grown your marriage over the last year in ways that you never dreamed possible.
What a blessing you are to your church family. Through your testimony they can see how God uses a marriage that is based on Him.
Love you all!

We are blessed to know you both and love you very much!
Hello, I don't know you ... actually I came across this blog because I clicked next blog on mine thinking my next blog would follow (new to the site) but God has a purpose and plan for everything! It's wonderful to see a Christian Family who is truly living and breathing the word of the Lord! I am a Christian (I was lucky enough to be born on Easter Sunday) ... I come from a two parent home ... and I have a heart malformation ... don't worry 28 years later I'm strong and healthy! I am currently engaged to someone who wasn't taught the Bible ... comes from a one parent household (which is fine of course) ... but I'm trying to bring him faith ... I wish you and your family the best!!! God Bless!!
so sweet. so meaningful. and I'd say 4 kids in 8 years is pretty stinkin' good! :)
tears not only in my eyes, but falling down my face' and dripping on my neck as i try to type. w/ complete yeildedness y'alls lump of clay is gonna look beautiful!!!!
