Long day

Baby Kate woke up this morning sick. She was very lethargic today and I had fun cuddling her. She's always on the go (Kate the Great is what we call her!) and it was fun to just hold her, but it wasn't so fun tonight when she started throwing up. Poor Kate. Jonas and Ella also got some holding in. Do you think the girls look alike?
Kate loves holding this baby and Ella was nice enough to let her have it all day today!
And here are the promised pictures of the new countertops Jason installed last night.
This is where the double wall ovens were. It's so nice to have the extra counter space.
Obviously the wall is going to need some work, but we'll save that job for another day! I got the green bread box at a yard sale for 25 cents. It's the same color as my cabinets. It came out of someones camper in the 50's!
Isn't it beautiful? I don't even have to worry about whose bacteria stained sink and countertop I'm using! It's so exciting!

beautiful counters and sink! I do think your girls look alike but I also think they favor your husband. Hope Kate feels better soon.

How gorgeous are those counter tops and sink!!!!! I love the little canisters in the corner too! Christmas stuff looks great with the green in there! The bread box was a perfect find for a perfect price too!

Poor little Kate! I hate it so much when my Aaron is sick, but you can definitely tell when he is because he stops moving too! =) The cuddle time is priceless even though we wish they felt better! Hope she feels better soon and that no one else catches any of it, especially YOU!!! And, yes, your girls could be twins if they weren't that far apart! They're both adorable!

Hi Beth-- The girls do look more alike now. I didn't think so at first. You can tell they are sisters though. I think my girls look a lot alike too. They are too precious. That is too bad Kate isn't feeling well. I hate throwing up. I just dread my kids getting it. Yuck-- The cabinets and sink look great--

Can I come over for coffee? I'll bring the donuts! Makes me homesick for you. This looks great!!! I love the sink you picked out. Little more character than most and the countertop looks great. Good choice on color and materials. I can only imagine the difference this makes in the feel of your house when you walk in that side door! I'll have to take another trip out there just to see your place again! Your children are beautiful and they all look like a family - you know - different but they definitely all resemble each other! Have Merry Christmas! Love you!
