A date with daddy

Ella and daddy went out for ice cream, "a pink one!" last Friday night. It's all she talks about now. They walked around the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, looked at the water fountain, and shared ice cream at Coldstone Creamery.

How very sweet! Our pastor does this with his daughters and his wife takes their son out as well. I think that is such a neat idea. Even with Ella so young, I'm sure that will be a lasting memory for years to come!

So.. you have a little ice-cream lover too! I love "the pink one" comment-- how cute. How special she must have felt to have daddy all to herself! Also-- I really really love your "space"! I didn't even notice the lightbulb hanging down until you mentioned it! That made me chuckle-- I think that it's quite charming :)

HEY---just wanted to let you know that I got your letter in the mail (I think 2 days ago). THANKS so much for the paint chips!!! I really like them all!! This will help me narrow it down having seen the paint actually up on walls! I can stand at the paint chips for hours it seems and still be so unsure!

LOVE IT!

What a sweet idea!

We are settled in and we finally have DSL at the house! I will post pics soon; I so need ideas for the house!

The whole house is antique white!

I remember so many dates with my dad! This post brought tears to my eyes remember how excited I was each time I got to dress up and go on a date...even if it was just to the grocery store to get my favorite candy. My dad and I would sing the whole way there and back...even the week before Mark and I started dating...my dad took me on an ice cream date to talk about my fears/concerns about dating MArk seriously. The advice he gave me that night will never be forgotten...and neither will the peanut butter infused ice cream cones! (sorry this is so long..I should have just done a post on my blog!) Love ya
