Pannekoeken Pancakes

This is one of our family's favorite meals! Best of all it's a fun, cheap, easy, and yummy! I just make sure the kids eat something nutritous for lunch and then load these pancakes up with lots of yummy stuff for dinner!
My kids get so excited watching them puff up in the oven! They run around (and get more than a little crazy!) for the 18 minutes of baking time. Each lap they run around the house they come to check on the Pannekoekens and shout and cheer as they get bigger and bigger!
Toppings we like are baked apples with cinnamon and sugar and caramel syrup, powdered sugar and maple syrup, banana slices with chocolate syrup and whip cream. The choices are certainly endless and limited only to your imagination! Simply fry up some bacon or sausage to complete the meal.
Pannekoeken Pancakes
2 T butter
1/2 c flour
1/2 c milk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all together. Pour into buttered pie pan and Bake @ 450 for 18-20 min.

I printed this off and am going to try it this week! I do have a german pancake recipe that seems similar...but the ingredients seem a bit different! Great topping ideas! We just did the waffle thing for dinner tonight including the oh so nutrious toppings of nutella, cashew butter & maple syrup.
