Mom is here!

Jason is in New York with our youth group on a missions trip this week. My mom was able to fly up for the week to be with me and the kids! I've had such a great visit with her already. We both enjoy creating and decorating and we've had so much fun in my house. I always have one hundred and one projects to do, but especially with a new/ old house and when my mom comes she dives right in with all kinds of energy and excitement and fresh creative ideas to help me. We stay up way too late doing lots of fun stuff. Why is it that my days seem to drag when I'm by myself, but when my mom's here they FLY by? My mom and my sister are my two best friends. Why are we all separated by so many miles? I'm going to soak up every minute of this visit and cherish the time with my mom.

Yeah!! So glad that you can spend some time with your mom. Greet her for me. (We are missing our Brumbaughs around here!) I can't wait to see pictures of all that you accomplish on your house! Next week Brennan & Scott will be at Northland for B-Ball camp, so I will be home alone and hopefully will catch up on some house stuff. I need someone inspiring here with me!!

You gotta love having moms around! I was sad when my Mom went home after Sydney was born. They are always so giving of themselves!

i just wanted to send you a note to tell you that your little baby girl is adorable! i laughed outloud when i saw her "rolls" picture!! that is amazing! if you're nursing, you are gonna have to tell me what you're eating...my baby didn't look like that, as hard as i tried! :)

Ooooh! Have fun! I always get SO MUCH gardening done when my mom visits! (sigh) now I miss my mom...
Please post some pics LATER of all your accomplishments!!! (and your new house). you know, when you have time...HA!
By the way, I like the black! That is too funny you copied mine---one day a long time ago i was in a bakery with a cup of tea, still preg. with jack. It was after one of my dr appt. I had the laptop and had just discovered the "blog" world. I was surfing around seeing whom I could find. Lo & behold, the Stampers!!! NO WAY!! I was so thrilled. And I LOVED your layout, then, which was green & brown---the colors I did Jack's room in. So, you see, I am the real admirer or YOUR style! :)

Janelle- I get this idea that I can't post pics until EVERYTHING is done and they look perfect. Well, with that mindset I'll never get them up so I'll try!

Cathy- I wish I could be there to do "house stuff" with you! That would be fun. I did have a great time with my mom. She always has the best ideas!

Tricia- ya, it's hard when mom leaves and "reality" sets in. I'll pray for you! Oh, and the "stamper story" took like a year to come up with. We had such a dumb title forever. :)

Shyla- I am nursing and I don't know what it is (I think aggressive kids!) Actually Kate is smaller than the other 2 were though! I miss having a newborn already. Kate's gotten so big so fast that it's hard to fit her in a little cuddly ball in my arms.

Erin- too funny. I'm sure if we lived close to each other we'd love giving each other ideas and helping each other with our houses!
