Daddy time!
Jason's 4, going on 5 years of schooling have been hard and long. Anyone out there going through this can relate. On rare occassions when the kids see daddy this is what the "daddy time" is often like. The past 5 days since Jason started full-time as youth pastor at Fourth has been AMAZING! We've had dinner together every night and have spent lots of family time in the evenings. We're so thankful to finally be on the ministry end of our training. God has been faithful in meeting our needs and good in every step of this journey. Oh, let me insert that Ella is our "cuddle bug". Even now as I write this Ella looks the same on my lap!

Okay, Miss Bethy-Bethy Bad Breath! I had to start it that way - I needed some kind of "negative" comment to make myself feel better! Not only are you good at everything you do (crafts, cooking, decorating, to name a few), but you have time to blog well too! Your own blog and comments on everyone els's - I see your name everywhere whenever I finally get on-line and check a few blogs! And for the record - you don't really have bad breath!! Maybe that will clear it up for all our college friends who you thought I really thought you had bad breath!! We miss you guys - we often think about how fun it would be to still be there at Fourth "under" Jason!! :)

are you just now finding out that Beth is good at everything she does? I remember when I was in Sec. Ed and she was in Elem. Ed. she would get these projects that were so much fun and she would make such amazing things. I, on the other hand was simply writing another paper or making a boring notebook or some dull thing that wouldn't interest a deaf mute.

Did you have to post the one with the farmer's tan. You'd think I never see the sun.

Ok. Connessions. I blog to make myself feel good. I need the constant flow of praise from friends across the miles who never actually see the piles of laundery or stacks of mail or dirty bathrooms that my family endure. Esther, thanks for clearing up the bad breath. I've always had a complex! Sarah, the El. Ed projects could have been done by the blind deaf mute who wasn't interested in your writing!

To my dear husband- I'm sorry your arms hadn't seen the light of day! When God called us to this forsaken winter land you gave up the pleasures of your hope for a tan. By the way I'm still bitter that I had to give mine up too! Love you!

We can relate to the school thing also. Thankfully Stephen is in his last year.

p.s. we are in a place where you can get a tan, and we STILL never make it to the beach! :)

Very sad Shannon. Please try to get some sun for us! It's wonderful to finally be near the end of school!

Oh, so I can leave my bathrooms dirty and my piles of laundry - now I get it. Thanks for letting me know the bar isn't as high as I thought it was! And you're right Sarah, Beth is very funny!

I CAN'T keep up with all the humor or sarcasm- whatever it is. I have no comment. I need to go weave a rug or build a desk or something.

beth -
i love how you and ella match - how adorable - and i think it is great that we would dress our kids like us high fashion models that we are :) Do you drive through Lafayette when you go to TN? if you do you know what that means - You HAVE to stop in. Love you friend!

Sherry, I was waiting for that invitation!!!! Awesome! We'll bring our church hymnals and communion sippy cups. Sometimes we drive down through Iowa to visit my g-parents in IL, but that way is a lot longer. Actually, we've only driven home twice in the 4 years we've been here. So, don't look for us any time soon.
