This kid is so crazy!  I've been thinking about doing a post on Kate's personality, but how do you put into words a little person like this?  The same person who when asked how old she is answers clearly, "I'm 20 months old".  She keeps me on my toes (yesterday she pulled a chair to the counter and got a mug out of the sink and started pouring herself a cup of coffee, broke Jason's glasses, and dumped board games out in the living room) and our Mr. Blue stick stays handy at all times!  She's learned a new trick and a new way to entertain the masses.  I may never get around to that special Kate post, but I'll let this video speak for itself.

I think the bank down the street is sitting in a hot spot. It's digital board is reading + 1! Our house is saying - 11. whatever.... it's all bad.... REAL bad... And now it's time to counsel myself!

bad hair day

I took these pictures of Kate after church yesterday morning.  It looks like it was a rough day in the nursery I'd say!  

This picture perfectly captures Kate's crazy personality.  I just love it!

Painted fingernails

These pictures are in honor of my friends in the South.  Every little baby girl in Georgia has painted fingernails and toenails!

Why not?

We had such a great Thanksgiving!  Mark and Amy came from Oregon, Justin and a friend came over from Northland, and my parents came up from Tennessee.  This means we had A HOUSE FULL!!!  It was a crazy and wonderful time.!  Anyway, remember our bathroom issues and remodeling?  Well, since my dad can do anything :) he worked his magic around here for a week and did so many things on the house (winterize basement windows, closures on kitchen cabinets, tiled the backsplash, set the tub surround and tile and built-in shelves in bathroom, heat ducts run in the basement, lights in the basement, replaced broken storm window, tore out a wall in the basement).  Yes, there were 11 of us around here, so why not work on the only bathroom in the house- perfect timing. :)  It's a good thing we're all family!
