I Need Your Help!

This weekend we went to Jan's Tree Farm and had the wonderful experience of choosing and cutting down our own Christmas tree. The kids loved it. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun! We tried to take a family picture while we were there hoping to get a pic to use for our Christmas card. However, I can't decide which one is the best. Please give me all your votes!

Jr. High Sleepover

The 7th and 8th grade girls spent the night at our house and we made some "cool" handbags out of placemats! They had a great time and were actually all asleep by 2:30 a.m!

The highchair project

This is an old highchair I found at a yard sale for $1.00. I was so excited to find it! It was in rough condition and was missing the tray. Perfect! I had been looking for an old "high" chair for Ella to be able to sit right at the table with us. Since the tray was missing I took off the hardware on the side arms that hold the tray and chopped off a few inches of the arms so it would sit closer to the table. I had to sand the whole thing down pretty good and clean it. Then I painted it black with a distressed finish to match our table and other chairs. Ella LOVES her big chair at the table!
